Meanwhile in the Reina Sophia Lynne Cooke and Douglas Crimp curated the exhibition "Manhattan, uso mixto." The exhibition examined the use of photography in Manhattan starting in the 70s. What is interesting is how central Manhattan overwhelm the other concerns in the work. I found myself having to not be come nastalgic for a city of 30 years ago.

There was this beautiful moment in the Chris Wool room when looking out the window I remembered I was in Spain.

Up the Paseo del Pardo is the CaixaForum by Herzog & de Meuron.

A 24 meter high vertical garden, designed in collaboration with the botanist Patrick Blanc, takes up one wall of the square.

“The garden establishes a connection with the Botanical Garden and the landscape of the Paseo del Prado.” -Jacques Herzog
